It's a Beautiful Day To Be Loved....

The favorite Canadian crooner, Michale Bublé, is making yet another sly entrance into the entertainment industry. He has reached into the American songbook with some amazing renditions of some oh so popular classics from Frank Sinatra, the Bee Gees, Jackson 5, Elvis Presley, Van Morrison, along with many more. Not to mention, he is looking oh so fine in a suit!

To Be Loved, available at amazon.com by clicking here, is a lineup of tracks to include four original songs co-written by the Canadian Crooner himself.  The original songs bring you right to the heart of Bublé s person life.  Michael says, "I want to take you on a wonderful journey about love--all different kinds of love".  The album itself touches on many emotions from happiness to sadness. "Do not think I take my success these last ten years for granted. I was anything but an overnight sensation, which inspires me to deliver big time for my fans—maybe even make some new ones this time out." says . "I labored over every song, every note and every arrangement because I can’t resist trying to make each record better than my last one."

Michael is enjoying the good times in his life, he will soon become a first-time dad. In the video for the song, It's a Beautiful Day, he portrays a young lad truly loving life. Michael says, "I wrote Close Your Eyes about my wife and about the power of all the women in my life—my sisters, my mom, my grandma and all women in general. Let’s face it, where would we be without them? I Got It Easy, another original, is basically a song where I count my blessings and is a reminder to me and everyone to appreciate all the good parts of life. I’m a very lucky guy and I never want to forget it."

From the first track on the album to the very last track on the album Bublé never ceases to amaze me with his talent.  I watched the video for the song It's a Beautiful Day and came to the very conclusion that the lives of people all around today resemble the portrayal in the video.  You can watch the video by following the link here.

Michael is slated to appear on Dancing with The Stars on April 30 and on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on May 3.  Be sure to tune to your favorite television station to check him out.

Disclaimer:  I participated in this campaign for One2One Network. I received a free copy of the album to facilitate my review. By posting, I am eligible for incentives. All opinions stated are my own.

His Love Never Fails

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3

Clearly in this verse, love is viewed as important, higher and more valued than any other attribute. In 1 John 4:8b, it states: "God is love." And since 1 Corinthians 13:8a states: "Love never fails."
This therefore, God will never fail us Christians, that God will always be there in our time of need. Whenever you're in pain, remember that God will never leave you, never.

When the lyrics go: "Love is a river that flows through" I really think that it is referring to this text in the Bible: "And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us." Romans 5:5

For us to love, it cannot be achieved by ourselves alone, but rather is only capable of occurring from the source of unconditional love, the love that can be found in His Word in many many many (countless) examples, and we must ask + seek for His help and intentionally try to do so.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

It's the Only One You've Got...

You hide behind your walls of maybe nevers.

Forgetting that there's more than just knowing better.

Your mistakes don't define you now, they tell you who you're not.

You've got to live this life you're given like it's the only one you've got.

A Mother's Love...

For thus saith the Lord:"Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river and the glory of the gentiles like a flowing stream. Then you shall feed. On her sides you shall be carried and dandled on her knees, as one who comforts his mother, so I will comfort you." Isaiah 66:12-13.

There are many times during our days of motherhood when we trust fully on God's love to carry us through. The days of "mommy can you do this for me", "mommy I don't feel good", "mommy so and so broke my heart", being awoken by the cries of a hungry or hurting baby in the middle of the night and the list goes on and on.

God pays a wonderful tribute to motherhood in Isaiah as He refers to His love for His children as "a mother's love." Jesus paid the same tribute to motherhood when He spoke of His love for Jerusalem like "a hen gathering her chicks under her wing."

God takes the children, during a mothers time of difficulty and shelters, protects, loves and provides for them. Mothers are taught to love their children unconditionally. Mothers are taught to protect their children from all evil and harm. Mothers are taught to shelter their children with their wings and keep them safe. Mothers are taught to provide for their every need. "Oh how much I love you," He cried "if only I could be a mother hen and spread my wings to protect you!"

Like a mother hen, Jesus calls his children to come to him so that he can shelter and protect them.

Thank you to all the wonderful Mothers today for loving their children and paving the way for them, so they can grow and develope into the people they become in their future. Thank you mom for spreading your wings and protecting me each day as I grew. I wouldn't be who I am today with out you.

Phases of Life...

We all go through phases in our lives.. Some phases we venture through we are proud of, other phases we aren't so proud of and yet others we are just living in them. I am leaving a phase of my life that I can honestly say I am not the most proud of, however, as I leave that past behind I am moving forward into a phase of my life that I am excited to begin. I have come to the realization that our time here is way too precious to waste away. We must take up our sword and prepare to fight the battles as they come venturing forward into each new day understanding that whatever we must face that day is a journey toward the next.

Life often gets in the way of the things that are most important to us. We lose sight of the true importance of those things. All too often we let the day-to-days over take the bigger picture and we lose sight of it. Take a few minutes today to evaluate the bigger picture in your life and make an effort to make small or big changes to gain focus on where you really need to be.

Upcoming Posts

Be on the lookout for some new posts from me soon. I'm working to get some new items created so that I can share with you the wonders of my creativity. I wish I could make papercrafts day and night, but I don't think I'd be married if I did and my kids would be taken from me for neglect. I love them all too much, so you'll have to be patient while I make some time to work at it.
